Welcome back Cobs Bread! After a three-week renovation closure, many Oak Bay residents will be relieved to see Cobs open its doors once again this week. We, the board of directors of the 9-10 Soup Kitchen, join you in welcoming Cobs back to business.
The 9-10 Soup Kitchen serves home-made soup from the basement of St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Cathedral weekdays to anyone in need of a hot meal. Along with that soup our volunteers serve bread and baking provided by generous businesses such as Cobs Bread. After many years of receiving donated baked goods from Cobs Oak Bay, this short shut-down has served as a reminder of how fortunate we are to be supported by such businesses.
