LETTER: Sidney motel’s final act of generosity

As Sidney knows, the Cedarwood Inn, after many, many years has given way to “progress” and closed. These last four days all of their many doors have been opened for the public to pick and take away all kinds of items from beds and fridges to wine glasses and paintings.

The cost? A donation to the Sidney Food Bank. No prompting, no suggesting – just a big “piggy Bank” for your donation to the food bank, and there was an awful lot of money in that piggy!

Great on Peter and all his people – such generosity is to be recognized and admired.

Another of the many reasons Sidney is so uniquely special.

Thank you, Peter!
