Parks Canada’s decision to allow day visitors access to Discovery Island flies in the face of common sense; they’re asking for trouble.
Suddenly introducing large numbers of people into a solitary animal’s already finite, comparatively small territory won’t do anything for its state of mind. Expect confrontations. Prediction: by summer’s end, the wolf will be dead and/or “gone”.
