What sad irony that you printed the photo of the young deer jumping the fence in your Picture of the Week for the Jan. 2 edition.

Sad that this young deer could be one of many killed this month as part of the mayor’s cull. In future all we will have left of these and other such innocent creatures are photos. Shame!
