Oak Bay's High's annual boys' basketball tournament hits the hardwood at Oak Bay High through Saturday




Oak Bay High’s senior boys’ basketball team had doubled Nanaimo’s Wellington by half-time of the opening game of the Gary Taylor basketball tournament hosted at the local high school.

Play continues through Saturday with a special dedication of the training gym in honour of longtime coach Don Horwood during Friday evening’s feature game. The celebration will take place during half-time, around 6 p.m.

The junior championship goes Saturday at 4:15 p.m. followed by the senior final at 6 p.m.
