This is one of a pair of bumbling thieves who stole a Keno machine from 17 Mile Pub. Call Crime Stoppers with any information. (Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers)

Can you identify these thieves for Sooke RCMP who broke into the 17 Mile Pub and stole a Keno machine on Sept. 16th?

The hapless thieves had apparently stolen the truck seen in the video and then travelled to the 17 Mile Pub where they broke into the premises by way of a second-floor window.

The truck was later abandoned and recovered by the RCMP that same night on the West Shore, said RCMP Sgt. Clayton Wiebe.

It seems that these thieves were akin to the “gang who couldn’t shoot straight” as they can be seen on the surveillance video struggling with the machine, failing to lower the tailgate of the stolen truck before trying to load their loot, a Keno machine taken from the pub.

The owner of the 17 Mile Pub reported that the machine contained no money.

The machinehas not been recovered, although it has no monetary value and, obviously, can no longer be used for its intended purpose.

If you know who either of these bumbling suspects might be, please call 1-800-222-8477 or leave a web tip at www.victoriacrimestoppers.ca.
