A handful of residents are dealing with flooded basements after a hydrant was hit this morning (Feb. 6) at the corner of Epworth and Haultain roads.
Oak Bay police and fire were called and have since cleared the scene.
“We’ve got some flooded basements,” said Oak Bay Fire Chief Dave Cockle.
Oak Bay public works remains at the site, and Epworth is closed at Haultain, to repair the hydrant.
