Sunday marked the last dinner to be served up at the Blethering Place Tearoom and Restaurant in the village.
The popular Oak Bay eating spot was full to overflowing, with faithful customers sharing one last meal before it closes after 35 years.
It will be replaced by a bistro, which is expected to open in the spring.
