Oak Bay Police are actively investigating a bank robbery that happened late yesterday afternoon.
"Other agencies were apprised, neighbouring police departments," said Const. Rick Anthony, community liaison officer for Oak Bay Police. "They're working on some suspect details and some leads.
"It's still early in the investigation."
They hope to release more information later this morning, but can confirm a man did take a "quantity of money" in the robbery at the TD Canada Bank shortly before 6 p.m. last night (Dec. 15).
