UPDATE: Missing Saanich senior located safe, say police

Feng Ya Jiang, 82, does not have a cell phone and only speaks Mandarin

A senior reported missing Thursday is safe, Saanich police reported Friday morning.

Officers issued an alert for the missing 82-year-old in the early hours of Jan. 20, but reported her safe six hours later.

Feng Ya Jiang headed out for lunch on Jan. 19 around 12:30 p.m. and did not return. Jiang, 82, suffers from several health concerns and her family was worried.
