Oak Bay police responded to a break-and-enter to a residence in the 2000-block of Byron St. on Nov. 9. The homeowners returned to the residence to find a ladder up against the house and a screen removed from one of the windows. The culprits entered through the window and made off with a lap top computer and other household items.
