Snow on the Avenue
Oak Bay Pharmasave owner Tony Tucker helps out his Oak Bay Avenue neighbours at CIBC clear snow outside their door Wednesday morning.

A far larger than expected snowfall left motorists sliding and workers scrambling to get to work all over the Capital Region on Wednesday morning.

Forecasts are calling for more snow tonight and tomorrow, but sunny and cold by Friday. The sub-freezing temperatures of the next few days are expected to rise and bring rain by the weekend.

No plans are yet in the works to cancel the annual Greater Victoria flower count scheduled for next week.
