Community association prepares Oak Bay’s second all-candidates meeting

Oak Bay residents looking to find out more about their candidates in the upcoming municipal election can attend an Oak Bay all-candidates meeting on Sept. 26.

The event, sponsored by the North Oak Bay Community Association, runs 7 - 9 p.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church on the corner of Henderson and Cedar Hill X Rd.

This is the second all-candidates meeting in Oak Bay, the first drawing a huge crowd on Sept.22 to the Monterey Recreation Centre.

The province heads for general municipal election Saturday, Oct. 20. In Oak Bay, residents will elect a mayor and six councillors.
