Victoria Women’s Expo – for today’s amazing woman!

Victoria Women’s Expo comes to Saanich’s Pearkes Recreation Centre March 17 and 18

It’s time to raise awareness around new initiatives women are taking to help their female counterparts achieve their goals and feel empowered.

The Victoria Women’s Expo, coming to Saanich’s Pearkes Recreation Centre March 17 and 18, does just that.

The concept of women helping other women benefits both parties, while demonstrating just how powerful women can be when they support one another.

Producer Virginia Ritchie is proud to present a Women’s Expo that focuses on what women want to learn, share and incorporate into their lives. Whether a stay-at-home mom, entrepreneur or CEO of a major corporation, whether straight, lesbian or transitioning, the Victoria Women’s Expo welcomes everyone to listen to the stage presentations – PowHERtalks – building strong women who lead. Hear Kris Greffard discussing online dating safety and self-defense, Brad King, talking about real-food fuel and health expert Dr. Forghani, of Ageless Living Biohack Centre, plus fitness demonstrations, networking, prizes, shopping – too much fun to list!

Robin Farrell, of Ocean 98.5, shares her story Choose to be Bitter or GET BETTER!, how she handled a big life change with little or no warning and her recovery/success that followed.

It’s important that women stop making comparisons amongst themselves. Social media posts often say something along the lines of, “Real women have curves, are skinny, have muscles, ride horses, etc…” But we are ALL real women and we need to appreciate ourselves exactly as we are. We all have something unique to bring to the table.

BeYOUtiful – whatever YOU feel, want, are or aspire to be. What we all have in common is that we are all different. Can you imagine a world in which we use our strengths to empower ourselves and our communities?

The Victoria Women’s Expo and Langford Browns Social House are proud to support the Victoria Women’s Transition House and the Cridge Centre for Families with fundraising from the coat check and snack bar – come out and support these important community organizations that work hard to empower women!
