St. Michaels University Junior School students received a surprise visit from two goats to celebrate the generosity they’ve shown in raising cash for those in need overseas.

Last week, a student-led initiative at St. Michaels junior school on Victoria Avenue saw Kindergarten to Grade 5 students doing chores to earn money that could be put towards animals for families through World Vision Gifts.

The program has more than 60 alternative gift options available from goats and chickens or medical kits. More information is available at catalogue.worldvision.ca/Gifts.
