Rotary gets In Tune to help Ugandans

On Sept. 17, the Rotary Club of Saanich presents In Tune, a concert at the McPherson Playhouse with Ugandan artist Kinobe, Victoria’s Jordan Hanson, and the South Park School Children’s Choir. The show benefits Rotary micro-lending and development projects and features an information fair at the McPherson, as well as a raffle for a Ugandan tour package.

On Sept. 17, the Rotary Club of Saanich presents In Tune, a concert at the McPherson Playhouse with Ugandan artist Kinobe, Victoria’s Jordan Hanson, and the South Park School Children’s Choir. The show benefits Rotary micro-lending and development projects and features an information fair at the McPherson, as well as a raffle for a Ugandan tour package.

Among the organizations represented in the fair is the recently-formed Primary Schools for Africa.

The event is a chance to see Kinobe, a world-class performer and ambassador for peace.

Tickets are $37, available from the McPherson Box Office at 250-386-6121. A silent auction begins at 6:30 p.m., with the show from 7:30 p.m.
