Photos: Monterey spring fashion show lights in Oak Bay

Celebrating their 8th anniversary Fashion Show, the Merry Widows Club of the Monterey Recreation Centre modelled the latest fashions last weekend.

The show at Monterey featured clothing from Alia N TanJay at Hillside Mall as Carol Murphy, store manager, described the outfits and gave tips on the latest fashion trends. Pendants are back, and yes, it’s fine for your top to be longer than your jacket.

Coming events at Monterey centre include a Luau Tea for the Hula for Health dancers on June 7th and the Burger Hop Dance Party with Rukus on June 8. Tickets are available at reception, 1442 Monterey Ave.
