Oak Bay High digs in for annual track and field fundraiser

Oak Bay High School covers the community in compost for the 18th year to raise funds for it’s multi-championship track team.

Oak Bay High School Track and Field are Island Junior Champions 26 consecutive years and senior champions for 25 consecutive years. The team claimed the provincial team title for 11 of teh last 16 years.

Each year student athletes sell a high quality mix of yard compost and manure that has been well ground and mixed and will be sourced locally to help Island businesses.

This year they fill bags and orders April 5 to 7. The compost comes bagged in industrial quality plastic bags that can be re-used many times around your garden. They are 35 to 40 pounds each at a cost of $6 per bag or $25 for five bags including delivery of your prepaid order.
