Do you know an individual or group that is making outstanding contributions to enhance our environment?
If so, nominate them for an EcoStar Community Environmental Award, co-ordinated by the Capital Regional District.
The awards are open to individuals, businesses and other community or non-profit groups.
There are seven submission categories: community environmental leader, youth leader, water stewardship, waste reduction, climate action, land stewardship, and integrated watershed management.
Nominations can be completed online at www.crd.bc.ca/ecostar until April 7 at midnight. For those without Internet access, a paper nomination form is available at 625 Fisgard St.
