With lawn bowling season about to get underway, newcomers can try their hand at the sport during the Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club’s upcoming open house.
Bring your flat-soled shoes and a willingness to learn on Sunday (April 10) from 1 to 3 p.m. All ages and experience levels are welcome.
The public is also welcome to play for free every Friday night from May to September at 6 p.m.
The club is located at 2190 Harlow Dr. in the northeast corner of Carnarvon Park.
