Jaguars set to gather in Windsor Park

Jaguars on the Island 2014 is the largest Jaguar clubs of North America-sanctioned Jaguar car show on the continent. Owners of more than 100 classic Jaguar motorcars will gather on the grass at Windsor Park in Oak Bay on Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This year will feature classic Jaguar luxury sedans from the early years through to the Mark IX of 1961. A variety of other models will be there including the famous E-Type roadster and coupe, the fifties XK models, the XJS and the new F-Type. Some of the cars will be entered to be judged with the majority being entered in the Enthusiast class for display. Jaguar owners who would like to register to display their car can refer to .

The Jaguar Car Club of Victoria can be contacted at The general public will be welcome at Windsor Park at no charge to see all the Jaguars and take pictures. The owners are always pleased to tell the stories of how they acquired their classic Jaguar. Refreshments will be available from the Central Saanich Lions Club concession.


Acting mayor of Oak Bay for July is Coun. Cairine Green who will attend the show and picking a Jaguar from the field for the “Mayor’s Choice Award”. The criteria for her choice is which Jaguar she most wants to drive home.
