A handmade sign spotted on Oak Bay streets points to a heartwarming food-raiser Feb. 4.

The handmade sign posted on a pole appears childlike in its creation, and offers residents a chance to swap food for a beverage.

If accurate, a lemonade stand will pop up near Margate Avenue and Deal Street on Feb. 4 at 1 p.m.

All non-perishable food gathered will be donated to The Mustard Seed Food Bank.
