Free-Wheeling Dennis Mark Rossi sent in this photo of him in ‘Dennis’ – his 1930 Austin 7 Chummy brought from England – at Cattle Point. Dennis is poised to reside in Oak Bay, after approval for construction of his garage was ‘given by the gracious action of Mayor Jensen and the councillors. ‘Dennis will be free to wander the streets of Oak Bay, much like the deer, except he doesn’t often enter folks yards uninvited,” Rossi says. ‘Dennis is often photographed by onlookers and I offer to personalize the photograph by snapping them sitting in him.” Send your reader photos to editor@oakbaynews.com with contact information and a description of what drew you to snap the picture.
