The 6th Annual Oak Bay Easter Celebration will fill the green space and parking lot behind Oak Bay municipal hall again March 31. The fun, free, family event hosted by Tony Joe of Re/Max Camosun Oak Bay expects to see around 1,200 children stop in for the festivities.
The Easter Bunny will be there to interact with the kids and provide photo opportunities alongside the chocolate hunts for children of all ages. Other activities include face painting, a magician, cookies and cupcakes, and an Oak Bay police car and firetruck on display for the children to explore.
The entire field will be hunting grounds for the Easter egg hunts organized by age group throughout the morning.
“It’s so much fun watching the kids run around with their buckets. A lot of them are dressed up, and of course they get their faces painted,” said Joe. “It’s a great community event.”
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the park behind municipal hall.
