Gordie the dog has a routine, sitting daily on the window sill of Ramsey and Ramsey Flower Merchants on Oak Bay Avenue and waiting for the letter carrier.
Owner Susan Ramsey says he loves visiting with the mailman only after the mail arrives does Gordie abandon his post for a comfy chair in the store.
