Oak Bay Beach Hotel hires spa manager

Kelly Chodon joins the property from the Willow Stream Spa at The Fairmont Banff Springs

Kalsang (Kelly) Chodon is the new spa manager for the Boathouse Spa & Baths at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel.

Kalsang (Kelly) Chodon has been hired as spa manager for the Boathouse Spa & Baths at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel, bringing more than 12 years of hotel spa management experience to the property.

Chodon joins the property from the Willow Stream Spa at The Fairmont Banff Springs, where she was the spa groups and sales manager. At the Oak Bay Beach Hotel, Chodon will oversee a team of 20 staff members, including a registered massage therapist, spa therapists, spa co-ordinator and spa attendants.

“We’re excited to announce that Kalsang Chodon has joined our team,” said Michelle Le Sage, general manager of the Oak Bay Beach Hotel. “We feel that it is very important to bring in a management team member that has the right mix of spa experience, both national and internationally, as we look to expand our spa and wellness programs. We all look forward to welcoming Kelly to our team.”

Chodon is a certified Ayurveda practitioner, first-degree reiki healer, and certified hair stylist. She is also well versed in European and Asian massage therapies, both of which are featured as part of services at the Boathouse Spa & Baths.
