The 2018 municipal election is just a few short weeks away and two candidates are running for mayor in Oak Bay.
Nils Jenson is the incumbent, having first been elected to office in 1996 to sit on Oak Bay council and then as mayor since December 2011.
Kevin Murdoch is also running for mayor. The two-term current councillor announced his intent early in 2018.
