Canadian Olympic riders ready for 2018 Powerade Canada Cup

The Canadian Olympic team will ride the first Canada Cup race of the year this weekend at Bear Mountain.

Canada has 14 riders racing in the Cup event, seven are riding in the elite division and seven are riding in the NextGen (under 23) division.

Olympian and Commonwealth Games mountain biker Emily Batty will racing at the Cup and discusses the nuances of training at Bear Mountain compared to her Tucson training grounds. Olympian Leandre Bouchard will be competing in his first Commonwealth Games in Australia in April and is looking forward to representing his country and hopes for a podium finish.
