Bays boys soccer finishes sixth in the province

Colonist Cup winners lose one early game to drop out of contention

Oak Bay High senior boys soccer team finished sixth in the province last week.

The team lost 1-0 to Panorama Ridge in its opening game in Burnaby last Thursday. They went on to deafeat North Peace 4-0 Friday (Nov. 24) and Enver Creek 8-0 later that day. The Bays defeated Fleetwood Park 3-2 in a penalty kick on Saturday to finish the tournament in sixth place.

Dr. Charles Best Secondary won the Boys Soccer AAA Provincial Championships for 2017.

Oak Bay’s Cam Paul was named to the Commissioners 11.
