Two teams from opposite ends of the Americas will take identical records into Saturday, as Canada hopes to upset Argentina and win the 2012 Americas Rugby Championship (ARC).

Team USA also faces Uruguay in the other match on Saturday.

"We've gotta be on top of our game, and can't make mistakes or they're going to obviously punish us for it," said Canadian player Patrick Parfrey, at a press conference on Thursday.

Coming into Saturday's finale, Canada and Argentina are both 2-0. However, the Jaguars have won the ARC twice and are ranked five spots higher than Canada in the IRB World Rankings.

Each of those could change on Saturday.

"We came here to win and we want to win," said Argentinian player Benjamin Macome. "We know that we have a very tough match."

Both sides praised the crowd in Victoria and Langford before their game.

The USA and Uruguay kick-off at 5:30 p.m. Argentina and Canada will start at 7:30 p.m. Both games will be played at Westhills Stadium in Langford.
