I read in your paper this week the replies to my letter about development in Oak Bay.
I appreciate the comments of Coun. John Herbert and in particular his acknowledgement that there are more variance applications than there used to be.
Mr. Lee’s comments are, however, interesting in light of the fact he is an architect and former employee of Oak Bay municipality (the senior building official). Whether it is called a subdivision or the splitting of a double lot, it is plain and simple an over-redevelopment and overcrowding of this community.
