As a newcomer to Oak Bay, I am really dismayed by the speeds people drive in this town, especially on Cedar Hill X-Road and Cadboro Bay Road.
My apartment overlooks Cadboro Bay Road, and in the morning the speeds are way above the limit. In the year I have lived here I have not seen any police enforcement except by Willows school and that is rare.
The mayor of Oak Bay is concerned about cars hitting deer. I think Oak Bay does not have a deer problem. Oak Bay has a speeding problem and speed limits must be enforced.
