On June 6, I wrote each councillor asking for an explanation as to why Oak Bay paid a PR firm $6,000 for the deer cull. I have not received a reply or even an acknowledgement from councillors Croft, Braithwaite or Murdoch. These are the persons we elected to represent us.
As an aside, I wonder how many other communities that had deer culls paid a PR firm for help? Was it just Oak Bay?
