I concur with all the letter writers in the recent Oak Bay News regarding ever-increasing property taxes. But wait, we haven’t seen nothing yet.
Wait for the tax on the sewage project. Mayor Jensen and his council are slowly but surely eroding the character of Oak Bay. As Rhondda Tolen points out in her letter, it’s a myth about densification resulting in lower taxes. It would be refreshing if council could look at how to reduce the tax burden instead of the reverse.
