This ongoing war between mayor and council and the deer has gone on too long. The mayor won’t listen to anyone and tried a cull last year which was really a disaster not only for the deer but for mayor and council’s credibility. It’s time to give it a rest Mr. Mayor.
The UWSS is offering a viable solution and you should be accepting it. There are many more people in this community than you might believe who are strongly against a deer cull. But will you listen?
Why not put Oak Bay on the map showing we can be leaders when it comes to controlling deer population rather than putting us on the map as the place that slaughtered innocent animals. Your choice sir, but methinks this is falling on deaf (stubborn) ears.
