LETTER: Loud car stereo a selfish act

This is in response to the Central Saanich man who received a driving prohibititon for his loud car stereo (Saanich News Oct. 18). The cranking of a car stereo unnecessarily loud is not only inconsiderate of other people, it is selfish, self-centred, egotistical, and an indication of immature behaviour and a severe inferiority complex. He should consider using headphones so as to restrict his choice of music and preferred volume completely to himself.

Perhaps anyone unhappy with his behaviour should file charges of “assault by unnecessarily loud car stereo.”
