On the statutory holiday, I used the ATM at the Oak Bay Avenue Scotiabank. After that I headed out to carry out some errands and discovered that I had lost my wallet.
I retraced my steps all the way back home, and my wife asked me if I had called the police. I hadn’t, so promptly called and was told that a woman had turned in my wallet at the police station. A kind constable dropped it off to me, and after a very tense hour or so, I could once again breath normally.
I am using the Oak Bay News to give public thanks to the good Samaritan, who proved to me that Oak Bay people are great.
