Letter: Doctor: deer have become health hazard

Deer have become a big problem in our neighborhood.

Deer have become a big problem in our neighborhood.

They may be cute, especially the moms and baby fawns, but they have become an enormous health hazard.

I work as an anesthesiologist and I am involved with so many bicycling accidents involving deer, as cyclists swerve in an attempt to avoid hitting them.

Fractured forearms, fractured hips and head injuries all because the deer are crossing the road!

Like the cougar in James Bay, these animals need to be tranquilized and relocated from Uplands and Victoria golf courses, and the rest of the neighborhood, as they are the reason for increased bicycle and car accidents.
