As you have likely read in the local papers, Abstract Developments has been actively getting our message out to our community and garnering support for the Bowker Collection on Cadboro Bay Road and Bowker Avenue. Through various forms of outreach, including publications, open houses and door-to-door engagement, we have worked diligently to provide information on our proposed community and rally support from our neighbours.
We have encouraged members of the community to register as a way to show support. Because of this, we have received an incredible amount of positive feedback from our Oak Bay neighbours. We want to express our gratitude to those who have taken time out of their day to attend open houses, community engagement meetings, council meetings, public hearings, and one-on-one meetings with our team of representatives.
We also want to take this opportunity to thank all our passionate supporters, including those who spoke at the public hearing on May 3. Your commitment to Abstract and the Bowker Collection has been outstanding.
Despite a lengthy public hearing, Oak Bay council has not yet reached a final decision. We are continuing to engage with the community and seek support as the approval process carries on. We ask that you show your support by registering online at www.LiveBowker.com.
