Letter: Cadboro Bay Road speeds cause concern

Oak Bay Police need to begin enforcing area speed limits

My wife and I moved into Oak Bay this past summer and almost every night we walk our dog around the block which includes Cadboro Bay Road.

We are amazed at some of the speeding vehicles we see each night on Cadboro Bay.

The speed limit is 40 and we would not be surprised if most cars were exceeding that.

We have spoken to neighbours who agree and say that it appears the police department is not concerned with enforcing any speed limitations.

We were going to contact them but it might be fruitless. Hence our letter to you.
