Sometime between April 4 and April 8 some pranksters came deep into our garden and took two small cement Siamese cat statues. They dropped at least one of them on the lawn of an Estevan and Beach Drive apartment block, where a kind person found it and turned it over to the Oak Bay police.
We are hoping that if they dropped both, and someone took one thinking that they had been thrown out, or if the pranksters have a change of heart and know where the second one is, that they will return it to us, or call us to tell us where it is.
They were not particularly expensive, nor particularly well done, but they had great sentimental value, as they reminded us of the many Siamese cats we’ve owned over the years.
Please bring it back. Its “twin” is missing his “brother” greatly.
