I purchased a new Canadian flag, pole and bottom to secure it to the ground. My husband secured the pole to the ground peg with a bolt and screw.
You see I really wanted the pole to sit just by our gate, his concern was someone might steal it.
No I thought, it is Canada Day, that would be so un-Canadian. But, then as we were saying good bye to our guests who came to celebrate with us, the flag, pole and peg were gone.
If you thought this was a prank, it was not. Please return my flag and all will be forgiven, youthful prank maybe, but, putting it back would be a good thing to do.
