Pianist, singer, dancer, tennis player, teacher, cribbage player, house builder, hockey player, puzzler, skating queen. Dorothy Linden at 100 years old had lived a full life.

Born in Biggar, Saskatchewan, Dorothy had a work ethic born from the Prairies, with a steely determination to complete anything she put her mind to.

She had a joy for life and quick wit that stayed until her passing at Victoria Hospice, surrounded by her family.

She was known and loved as a mother to three daughters (Donna, Nadine, and Lois), grandmother to 11 grandchildren, and great-grandmother to 11 more. She was loved by her husband Ivor, whom she lost at 62, and her second partner, Vince, with whom she enjoying being snowbirds.

She will be dearly missed by all her family. As she would often say, she was the luckiest woman in the world.

We were lucky to have her in our lives for so long.
