Also on July 21, $1,300 in cash and jewelry was reported stolen from a resident living in the 2400-block of Heron Street.
The man left home around 12:30 p.m and returned at 3:30 p.m. to find items gone and the front and rear doors of the home unlocked. Police suspect someone had been watching the house because of the short time the man was gone.
