UPDATED: Surrey RCMP say a woman reported missing May 27 was located

Former Victoria resident Raquel Amaral was last seen at 5:45 a.m. on May 29 in the 10700-block of King George Boulevard

UPDATE: Surrey RCMP reported June 17 that a 41-year-old woman who went missing in late May was located safe.

Police said the former Victoria resident, was last seen at 5:45 a.m. on May 29 in the 10700-block of King George Boulevard in Surrey.

She has not been seen or heard from since.

Surrey RCMP describe Amaral as Caucasian, five feet two inches tall, 119 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Amaral was last seen wearing a red ball cap and a red jacket.

Police and family are concerned for her health and wellbeing, as it is out of character for her to be out of touch for this long.
