The waters off Willows Beach were busy June 25 as the MEC Paddlefest drew people throughout the day to sample kayaking, rowing, stand-up paddleboarding and more. Ocean River Sports took Paddlefest visitors on a quick tour of off-shore islands aboard the Discovery Shuttle and Parks Canada’s Gulf Islands National Park Reserve staffchallenged Paddlefest visitors to match the egg to the local bird species.
