Saanich police have located Amanda Unger reported missing since March 8

Saanich Police have found a woman reported missing last week.

Amanda Unger contacted Saanich Police, after authorities had reported her missing on March 8, after she had walked away from the emergency room at Royal Jubilee Hospital, said Staff Sgt. Chris Horsley of Saanich Police.

“Saanich Police have confirmed that Amanda Unger was located last night [Tuesday] by Saanich Police,” he said.

Horsley said Unger observed herself as the subject of police efforts to locate her. Unger then contacted police, who confirmed that she had walked away from the emergency room, unaware of the concern that it would cause.
