Roll out the barrel for Octoberfest fun

The cool fall air indicates Octoberfest is near.

At Monterey Recreation Centre the party comes complete with traditional German food, beer, music and more on Tuesday, Oct. 21 starting at 5:30 p.m. The event runs in the Garry Oak Room (bar opens at 5 p.m.).

Tickets are $20 for members and $23 for non members. An evening of fun including some lively “oom-pa-pa” awaits alongside a menu of Jager schnitzel, celery-mashed potatoes, braised red cabbage and Guinness chocolate cake.
