LAST WEEK: docked boat targeted for parts, house broken into

On Jan. 20 a police officer aided EMS in gaining access to a building. The officer had to climb on top of his cruiser and lift himself over a railing to peer inside a residence. He saw someone laying on the floor, who required ambulance to take them to the hospital.

Between Jan. 21 and 22, multiple vehicles were targeted by thieves. Of note, thieves made off with video projectors and a “large sum of money.” Police remind residents to look their doors and keep valuables out of sight.

On Jan. 24 police responded to a male yelling and waving a knife on the 2000 block of Haultain St. Officers took the man into custody and transported him to hospital. Once medically cleared, he was charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and causing a disturbance.
