Police Briefs: Police seek bundled-up shoplifter

Freezing temps down trees

Oak Bay police remind residents if a tree breaks a power line, assume the line is live.

Due to the cold weather, police responded to several calls involving trees falling across power lines in recent weeks. Residents should stay back at least 10 metres, make sure others stay back, and dial 911.
